On Saturday, June 28, 2025 we will organize a Standard Hunting Dog Trial (SJP) in cooperation with the Dutch Association of Heath Guard Lovers and the Hunting Committee SUN, in which are represented: the ESSCN, CSC and WSSC. This day offers a great opportunity to show the work of hunting dogs, including the German Longhair, in practice.
What is an SJP?
A Standard Hunting Dog Trial (SJP) is designed to test the natural ability and learned work of hunting dogs. During this trial, dogs are evaluated on items such as retrieve, mark, lost retrieve and obedience. The SJP is open to hunting dogs of all levels and is an excellent way for dog and hunter to grow together.
