If you want to breed with your dog, the dog will have to meet, among other things, a number of health requirements as described in the Association Breeding Regulations.
Designed to give you essential insights into your dog's genetic health, traits and diversity, this combination package includes DNA testing for numerous important diseases and/or traits. In addition, we also calculate your dog's Inbreeding Coefficient (COI) and Heterozygosity percentage. The COI shows the degree of inbreeding of your dog, while the heterozygosity percentage is a measure of your dog's individual genetic diversity. The combination package is more economical than all tests individually.
Information on individual tests included in this package is available by clicking on the tests under "Tests Included" on this page. We accept samples from animals of any age. Normally, the turnaround time for tests performed in our own facilities is 10 business days after receipt of the sample. For outsourced tests, marked "External lab," or "External patent lab," the turnaround time is at least 20 business days from receipt of your sample. Please note that the stated 20 business days is an estimate, as shipping time to these external labs may vary due to unexpected delays.
Some tests are performed by an external laboratory. CombiBreed handles the mediation between you as client and the external laboratory. CombiBreed cannot be held liable for the conduct of the client and/or contractor in these cases.
