Our club believes it is important to ensure that the breeding of German Longhairs is done properly. We do this to prevent the dogs from getting hereditary diseases. We also look at how healthy and friendly the dogs are, to make the breed better if we can. The breeding guidance committee (FBC) provides information to people who want to breed with their Longhair. The breeding guidance committee also collects data on Longhairs. The FBC organizes litter inspections and an annual meeting for breeders. They also help organize activities to improve the hunting characteristics of the Langhaar.
